Kimberly Beasley, Soprano and Assistant Professor of Voice
In honor of Veteran’s Day, Professor Kimberly Beasley, soprano, and Dr. James Beasley, Associate professor of English at UNF, will present a program in words and music on the poetry of wartime, specifically those of Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon, renown poets of World War 1.
Kimberly has performed in a number of Jacksonville venues as well as in concerts and recitals from Chicago to Colorado. She also serves as a stage and music director for musicals and operas. She was the music director, to critical acclaim, of “Last Five Years” for OneTheatre in Chicago and in 2011, stage directed “Little Women, the Musical” for Jacksonville University which won awards for Best Actor and Best Lighting Design from Broadway World.
