From the Supervisor of Elections
ATTN: ALL ABSENTEE VOTERS
Absentee ballots for the General Election will soon be in the mail. By law, the earliest date that Supervisors are allowed to mail the regular (non overseas & military) absentee ballots is 35 days prior to an election. The mail date for the General Election is Sept. 30th, and approx. 16,000 absentee ballots will go in the mail. St. Johns Co. voters should begin receiving their absentee ballots in the mail beginning October 2nd. All voters should receive their ballots by October 10th at the latest.
If you received a flyer in the mail from a political group stating your absentee ballot should have arrived, the information contained in the flyer is incorrect.
Please feel free to contact the Elections Office should you have any questions regarding the status of your absentee ballot
